STEP-1: APPLICATION PREPARATION


1. Read the conditions of import for animals Sint Maarten Animal Import Conditions (Dogs, Cats, and Ferrets)                 

2. Obtain the relevant documents based on the animal’s category of entry Sint Maarten Animal Movement Guide.    
   To guarantee successful completion of the application, please ensure that your documents are in the format of
   Adobe PDF in a file size no larger than five (5) megabytes (MB). All documents must be in color and readable. 

IMPORTANT

- SERVICE AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT EXEMPTED FROM THE CONDITIONS OF ANIMAL IMPORT.

- An application submitted after five (5) business days before an animal’s arrival date is not guaranteed 
  to receive a decision in time for arrival.

- If the animal is travelling with a natural person who is not the animal owner or transported by a company, 
  then the animal owner must complete the authorization form and it must be submitted as an additional document 
  with the application Animal Movement Authorization Form

- The animal may be subjected to additional health requirements stipulated by the airline or shipping 
  agency according to IATA regulations.
